It all started with a Barbie doll
-
In early 2023, my aunt asked if I wanted her old Barbie doll—the one my mom had made clothes for when she was a kid. Of course, I said yes! That led to a trip to Arizona to check out the doll, and it also reconnected me with a passion I had as a child: sewing. While I was there, surrounded by fabric bundles, boxes, and bolts, my aunt showed me her embroidery machine. She said, “You should get an embroidery machine. It’s a lot of fun!” And she was absolutely right!
When I returned home with lots of embroidery supplies (but sadly not the doll—I didn’t have room!), I found a starter machine and started creating my first projects—earrings! A few months later, during another trip to see my aunt, I upgraded my machine. In March of this year, I went to a quilt show and bought a much bigger machine to keep up with my growing hobby, which eventually turned into a small business. I’m so grateful to my aunt, mom, and grandma for instilling in me a lifelong love for sewing and crafting.
Late last year, I made embroidery my full-time venture. I’m constantly learning new things, and I’m proud to offer a variety of products through this website. You can also find me at craft shows and events in the Missouri Ozarks—or just at my machines, creating. And... in the not-so-distant future, I plan to head back to Arizona to pick up that doll.
